The Marion Group of Schools in Kenya began in 1983 as a small kindergarten with 15 children in a City Council house in Kahawa West, founded by Cllr. Samuel Mbugua WaMarion and Rev. Hannah Wairimu Mbugua. It expanded into a primary school in 1987 and has grown into a major institution with the Kahawa West Campus (Preparatory and Senior) and the Marion Farmhouse - Kiambu Campus, serving over 1000 students.
